Welcome

These Terms of Service govern your use of sandrajoystudios.com and any purchase made through it. By browsing this site or placing an order, you agree to the terms set out below. The studio is operated by SandraJoy Studios, based in Nova Scotia, Canada.

Please read these terms alongside our Privacy Policy, Return and Refund Policy, and Shipping Policy, each of which forms part of this agreement.

The Work

Every print offered here is made to order, produced individually by our print partner at the moment you request it. Because each piece is produced this way, and because screens render colour differently from one device to the next, slight variation between what you see online and the piece that arrives is a natural part of the process rather than a defect.

Original paintings are sold individually and are not available for direct purchase through the site. Inquiries are welcomed at inquiries@sandrajoystudios.com and are considered on an individual basis.

Orders

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase, which we accept when the order is confirmed and sent into production. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order — for example, where a product has been listed in error, where payment cannot be verified, or where an order appears fraudulent. In any such case, any payment taken is refunded in full and promptly.

Please review your shipping address carefully before completing checkout. Once a piece has entered production, the address cannot be changed, and we are unable to assume responsibility for a delivery sent to an address entered incorrectly.

Pricing and Payment

Prices are listed in Canadian dollars. If you are shopping from outside Canada, prices may be displayed in your local currency for convenience; the amount charged is converted at the rate in effect at the time of purchase, and your financial institution may apply its own conversion or transaction fees.

Prices are subject to change without notice, though a change never affects an order already placed. Payment is processed securely at checkout, and your order enters production once payment is confirmed.

Shipping and Delivery

Production and delivery timelines, shipping regions, and any applicable charges are set out in full in our Shipping Policy. Timelines given there are estimates offered in good faith; once a piece leaves our print partner it is in the hands of the carrier, and delays in transit fall outside our control.

Where an international destination applies duties, taxes, or customs charges, these are determined by the destination country and are the responsibility of the recipient.

Returns

Our approach to returns, damages, and replacements is set out in our Return and Refund Policy. In short: because each piece is made to order we are unable to accept returns or exchanges, and should a piece arrive damaged or flawed, we will make it right.

The Artwork Itself

All artwork, images, photographs, text, and design on this site are the original creative property of Sandra English and SandraJoy Studios, and are protected by copyright. Purchasing a print conveys ownership of that physical piece and the pleasure of living with it. Copyright remains with the artist.

Accordingly, work purchased here may not be reproduced, scanned, photographed for resale, printed, distributed, or used commercially — including in digital form or as part of another product — without written permission from the studio. Sharing a photograph of your piece in your own home is always welcome — credited to SandraJoy Studios, and tagged @sandrajoystudios where you're sharing socially.

You may not copy, reproduce, or republish any part of this site for commercial purposes without permission.

Use of This Site

You agree to use this site lawfully and in good faith: for browsing, for purchasing, and for reaching the studio. Attempts to interfere with the site's operation or security, to access it by automated means, or to use it for any unlawful purpose are not permitted.

Accuracy

We take care to describe each piece — its dimensions, medium, and finish — as accurately as we can. Should an error appear in a description, price, or availability, we reserve the right to correct it and, where an order is affected, to cancel that order and refund it in full.

Limitation of Liability

The site and the work offered through it are provided as they are. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SandraJoy Studios is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of this site or from any purchase made through it. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount paid for the piece in question. Nothing in these terms limits any right you hold under applicable consumer protection law.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia and the federal laws of Canada applicable within it. Any dispute arising from them falls to the courts of Nova Scotia.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect how the studio operates. The current version is always the one published on this page, and it takes effect when posted. The terms in place on the date of your order are the terms that apply to it.
